My Hometown Fest
Founded in 2016, My Hometown Fest is a vibrant annual fundraiser supporting the club’s charitable initiatives, including the Sertoma Kids Speech and Language Center, which provides critical services to families regardless of their financial situation. Over the years, My Hometown Fest has become a beloved community tradition on Florida’s Suncoast, attracting thousands for a day filled with food from local restaurants, craft beer samples from across the country, live music from top regional bands, and family-friendly activities. With more than $200,000 raised to date, the event has made a lasting impact, ensuring that all funds stay within the community to support those in need.

Sertoma Golf Classic / October
Join us for our annual golf tournament, where a day of friendly competition and camaraderie awaits. We’re thrilled to offer exciting events like a shootout, a putting contest, and incredible guaranteed prizes. Whether you’re looking to showcase your skills or just enjoy the action, your participation will have a lasting impact. Proceeds from the tournament support Sertoma’s mission to strengthen our community by raising awareness and providing financial assistance to individuals and families with speech, language, and hearing needs.
Clay Shoot Tournament / January
Our last Sertoma Club Sporting Clays event raised $5500 and a new crop of sporting clays enthusiasts! Over 70 shooters participated, many who were first timers. This event helps provide funding and support for Sertoma Kids, Inc. which provides speech and language services for families regardless of their ability to pay. We are contribute to the Hearing Aid Project which provides refurbished hearing aids to those in financial straits.

Pickleball Tournament

Join in the fun! Our annual pickleball tournament is being held on April 26, 2025, from 1-5pm at Dill Dinkers SRQ. Our tournaments typically feature singles, doubles, and mixed doubles matches, organized into brackets based on skill level or age group. Players showcase their agility, strategy, and teamwork, while raising funds for Sertoma Kids and other community projects. The tournament brings people together for friendly competition and a shared love of the game.
Bachelor Auction

Get ready for an unforgettable evening at our exciting live Bachelor Auction, where local bachelors team up with their favorite nonprofits for a night of fun, philanthropy, and a little bit of friendly competition! The evening kicks off with a pre-event meet-and-greet cocktail party, giving you the chance to mingle with the bachelors before the live auction begins. During the auction, you’ll have the opportunity to bid on exclusive date packages that include not only a memorable experience with your bachelor, but also a variety of gift cards and other amazing items! All proceeds from each bachelor’s date package will go directly to support their chosen nonprofit. Taking the date is entirely optional, and preferences will be noted at the time of purchase. It’s a night of fun for a great cause!
